Nick, last night I went to "see" a horror movie with my friends.  If you had been there you would have been cracking up if you saw me.  I was sloutched down so low in my chair with my Ipod blasting music in my ears and my eyes tightly shut.  The entire time all I could think was how ridiculous you'd think I was being.  It made me think of that time you and Erica held me down on the couch and made me watch horror movie trailers with you guys because you said the only way I would ever get over my fear was to just suck it up and watch them.  Apparently, I still can not watch a horror movie!  But I hope, I was able to give you a good laugh as you watched down from heaven. Love you! maybe one day I'll be as brave as you were!!

I remember when we brought home our little puppy tiki and he was only 6 weeks old.  I called you up and asked you to come home to see him.  Tiki was only 2 lbs and he was running around the living room and hopping all over.  When you came in and saw him your were laughing so much and said to me "ma he is the smallest dog in the world, what did you get" it was so funny.  For a while you pretended not to like tiki saying he was too small, a girlie dog and you wanted no part of him.  Then one day he suddnely became your best friend, riding around with you in your car w/ your sunroof open, sleeping in bed with you every single night as a matter of fact you couldn't sleep w/out him:), feeding him every night from the dinner table when you knew you shouldn't and then you named him the famous MR. TIKI.  Well MR. TIKI is missing you alot, he still naps in your room and rolls/plays on your bed.  I love to share this memory because you and tiki had such a strong bond and you truely enjoyed having him as your dog.  WE ALL MISS YOU INCLUDING MR. TIKI!!!!!!!!!

nick what a beautiful day today there were signs of you everywhere theres been a bird by our window all week and aunt kat said it looks in the window and bella talks to the bird she calls him "nicky the bird" she said it was in the window all day today and when i left work today a bird was on my windshield just sitting there it was crazy. and theres always these lines in the sky that bella says is you well there were a million in the sky today all signs of you nick on your special day thank you for always showing us your still with us nick our beautiful nephew,cousin,and godfather.

It's been such a beautiful day in your honor Nick, from the weather, to all the amazing signs you've been sending today. So because of this awesome weather I decided to take the kids to Rita's cuz I've been craving their gelati. So anywayyyy I'm sittin there enjoying and I had a MAJOR flashback. The Rita's I was at, was the SAME one me you and Antonio went to the FIRST time I was Introduced to Rita's gelati thanks to YOU! I'll never forget you trying so desperately to explain to me the concept of their gelati and how they put custard with italian ice and  I was like thats not REAL ITALIAN gelato and I was like that's so stupid and u tried to convince me that it was sooooo good! You got the cherry ice w vanilla custard, but nothing was funnier then when u and Antonio would get brain freeze! HAHAHAHA miss you bro

Happy 22nd Birthday!  Remembering how much you loved each and everyone of your birtday's.  You loved and lived life with great passion and joy and those who knew you, knew what it was like to live.  Keep living on in our hearts and keep walking with us each day.  Thank you for BEING!!!!! If I hadn't known you, I would never of known LOVE.  Thank you for being my son, I will always love and miss you, Happy Birthday my boy and be at PEACE knowing how much your were loved!
